I purchase iNext MP3 player/10.0 MP camera/DV in just 5 months back. The images taken with the camera are very poor, not clear, faded and with dots. The images in sunlight are worst, even you can.t recognize the person or read the text of sign board. The unit sent back to the company service centre through dealer, but nothing changed. Even a 1.3 MP camera of old type mobile phone is giving very sharp and clear image then this type of camera. In my view, this company is a fraud and fooling us by selling garbage. If anyone is going to purchase the item of this company, please avoid and purchase the compo from a good company like LG, SONY or SAMSUNG etc. These are fake and traitor's companies and Brands like iNext.

The red clock indicates that the date and time need to be set. As for the "poor" quality, there are many possibilities. If the colors are wrong, the most likely culprit is an improper white balance setting. If the pictures are blurry, that could be caused by subject motion, camera motion, improper focus, or a combination of the three. If pictures taken with the flash are too light or too dark, that could be because the subject is outside of the flash's range. Without knowing what you mean by "poor" I can't give you anything more than some ideas.
there are two different models of this camcorder, are your sure your camcorder supports mp3? Aiptek IS-DV 5 MP Digital Camcorder and MP3 Player does support MP3 Aiptek IS-DV Flash Media Camcorder doen not
Did you try the reset hole in the back of the unit? put a pin or paper clip in there, hold it in for 3 seconds, it should turn off and come back on and restore the firmware.
