Help my camcorder wont charge!

I bought a brand new camcorder from a website. after opening i followed instructions and put the battery inside and plugged the wall adaptor into the wall. but the charging light doesn't even light up. it seems as if the battery isnt taking any energy. it only works when i plug the camcorder in and use at the same time. i even left it in overnight it just does not seem to charge. please help me!

Hi there i bought this isonic hd665 while i was on holiday in america 2 years ago the battery seems to not charge properly and when i do charge it for a few hours and put it in it works for all of 4 mins...

The battery can die when not used for years. Try with a new one.

My huawei ascend m860 wont charge. when i plug in the charger nothing happens. it was working fine yesterday and last night it wouldnt charge up. today i bought a new phone charger and it still wouldnt...

This happened to me too, you have to take your phone back to who you bought it from so they can repair it. Its the chip inside the phone that is bad. Not the charger.

Camcorder wont charge

Try cleaning the brass tabs on the battery and the point of contact brass in the camcorder. Use a soft brass brush (gun clean kits at Wal-mart carry them in all sizes). I do NOT recommend useing steel wool because steel wool will leave little bits of itself behind and cause shorting out

Bought an MXT DV7000 digital camcorder, but the battery never charges on their charger, tried a new battery still wont charge unable to find contact details or warranty card need to know where can find a...

I had the same problem.
Put the battery in an old Nokia desk charger (the docking type), aligned the contacts as the battery is smaller than the housing and left it overnight.

Battery or Charger bad?

If you persistently leave the batteries discharged, it is unlikely that they will be able to hold a full charge. You should re-charge your batteries at least once a month, even if unused. Put it on your calendar. BTW 2 years old is hardly 'brand new'.

The camcorder won't come on.

Can you plug the camcorder into the wall via the provided dc cable and your ac adaptor? If so your battery terminal cound have gotten bent, or a fuse link could have opened up inside. check above test first.

JVC-Everio GZ-MG330HU camcorder. Just bought it brand new. When I plug it in to charge the battery the red light blinks for a few seconds and then turns off, which means it is charged. But it wont turn on...

Hitachi DVD camcorder

The door might be stuck. Try "helping" it open manually after pressing the eject button. Otherwise, something is probably broken and you might have to call a repairman.
