Find the bake ignitor (you may need to remove bottom drawer or oven cavity floor to get to the ignitor). Turn on the bake. If the bake ignitor comes on (starts glowing after a few seconds) - check the amperage on the bake ignitor wires when it's on. If the ignitor is a round style - amperage should be 2.5-3A, if the ignitor is rectangular - 3 - 3.6A. If less than 2.5A or 3A respectively - replace ignitor. If the ignitor does not come on - check the voltage on the ignitor, should be the line voltage 110-120v AC. If there is a line voltage on the ignitor and it's not coming on - replace.
Ignitor part numbers for round style ones: 4342528, WB2X9154, SGR403, 5304401265;
rectangular styles: 12400035, WB13K21, WB2X9998, SGR412, NR020, 5303935066, 814269, 9753108.
Ignitors of the same shape (i.e. rectangular) are interchangeable, if you can splice the wires.

Good luck!

SOURCE: electrolux built in wall oven,

Hello stevefer
Welcome.

You said, Your Electrolux built in wall oven, lights and digital display work fine, fan works fine, but the oven will not heat regardless of the mode (broil, bake, convention roast, convection bake)

First,
1.What is the Model Number and the year of your wall oven?
2.Did the oven light up and display with any error codes?
3. Did you try to turn the breaker off for 5 minutes to see if this will reset the system?

Perhaps the heating element is failing and may need to be replaced.
I will be able to better assist you when you reply with this information.
Waiting your response.

SOURCE: Tappan Millennia range's baking component doesn't work.

Your ignitor has gone out or is no longer drawing enough current to open the gas valve. Replace the oven ignitor and it will fix your problem.

SOURCE: Broiler will work, but oven wont

Could be the bake igniter is bad and broil igniter is still good. may need to replace the bake igniter you will need a complete model number off range to determine the part number of the igniteryou may need.

SOURCE: JBP26 Oven broil and bake do not work and the oven light is flash

If you have 240Volts to the range and BOTH elements don't work, it sounds like the L2 OUT relay on the oven control is bad. Bake and Broil share this line and this problem is not un-common. Make sure you have proper incoming voltage first. Turn breaker off and back on to make sure both poles are set.

My frigidaire fef368gch was working fine and then the oven just stopped baking. It will broil but not bake. What causes this and how do I fix it?

Good Morning Shari,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire range, model# FEF368GCH, and the bake element not working while the broil element is. I suggest giving your appliance a hard reset, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 2-3 minutes. When power is restored, you will have to reset the clock by entering in the time and pressing start. Start a bake cycle, and if you notice that the bake element is still not working, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

My oven wont heat up?

Hello there:
first chevck to see if the broil feature will work but if both the broil and bake feature does not work meaning it will not heat up if you have selected either the bake or broil follow these solutions that i have provided for you .
It won't bake or broil If neither the bake nor the broiler heating elements heat, but the range burners still work, the clock may be set for a timed or self-cleaning cycle. Check to be sure the clock buttons and knobs are set properly. If your clock has a knob that says "push for man(ual)", push the knob in and try the baking and broiling elements again. If it still does not operate properly, you probably have a defect in the thermostat, selector switch, or common wiring. If the oven does not have a separate bake/broil/etc. selector switch, the problem may be with the thermostat. But it's not easy to check the selector switch or thermostat for proper operation. If you suspect a problem in this area, call a qualified appliance repair technician.

Is Whirlpool just a bad brand for ovens?

Bake burner

It is almost always a weak bake igniter. These age and will no longer pull enough current through them to allow gas valve to open. If bake igniter comes on and doesn't light, replace it.
