Dcp 115c.black won't print

The nozzle may be blocked. So take out the colour cartridge and place its nozzle in a bit of water for about 10 mins. Bring it out and dab the nozzle with folded paper. If the tissue is blotted with the three colour it means you have unblocked the nozzle. Try now to print after returning the colour cartridge. You may need to repeat to get good results.

In printer settings, change the color to black ink only or grey scale.. this will gives you black print.

You can't.The printer need all cartridges not empty to initialized and printing.You need to replace the empty cartridges to print.

My Brother DCP-115C I have replaced colours Cyan and Magenta both colours still will not print. Ihave gone through the cleaning procedures still will not print these colours

Black electrical tape is the answer and it’s because the tape is BLACK. Even if u put black tape on an empty cartage the printer will still try to print.

The tape goes on the side of the cartage that faces the back of the printer (where the sensor must be).

try to replace printhead....

clean and re calibrate it

Head blocked damaged, no fix for heads, replacement of head is fix, too expensive if not under warranty, use only brother inks. Dealer can perforn a powerpurge or you can hunt for code on web but it don't ussally fix

good chance....Print head is blocked very common, what sort of inks were used?

 

 Not economical to repair, buy new! 

This could be because of several probs: 1. The ink cart is not original and wont let the ink flow, because the valve is not open. 2. There might be air bubbles within the capillaries. 3. The ink is not genuine ink and has pigments in it. Use, if possible, the genuine ink cart from brother. Do the cleaning cycle twice. This will extract the air bubbles out of the caps after the second time. If you dont have any success the printhead is clogged and cant be cleaned anymore!
