Go button and light To print a demo page or to continue printing while in manual feed mode, press and release the GO button. Attention light Indicates that a printer media input tray is empty, a print cartridge door is open, a print cartridge is missing, or other errors. Status light patterns This section describes the meaning of the light patterns. Ready Light pattern Description The printer is ready to print. Action No action is necessary. To print a demo page, press and release the GO button on the control panel. Processing Light pattern Description The printer is receiving or processing data. Action Wait for the job to print. Continuable error Light pattern Description The printer is in manual feed mode. OR The printer is out of memory. Action The software controls manual feed. If manual feed mode is not wanted, change the setting from the printer properties. See the User Guide for information about changing printer properties. OR Take one of the following actions:

• The page being printed might be too complex for the printer memory capacity. To continue printing, press and release the GO button. The printer might print a partial page, or the quality might be lower than normal.
• Lower the resolution. See the User Guide for information about understanding print quality settings and changing print quality settings.
• Add more memory. See the User Guide for information about installing DIMMs (HP LaserJet 1300 series only).

Attention state Light pattern Description The printer is in an error state that requires operator intervention or help. The door is open, the media is out, the printer cartridge is installed incorrectly, or the media is jammed. Action

1. Check that the printer cartridge door is completely closed.
2. Load media into the correct input tray.
3. Check that the print cartridge is correctly installed in the printer. (See the user guide for information about changing the print cartridge.)
4. Check for any media jams and clear them. (See the user guide for information about clearing jams.
5. Check that the left side panel is completely closed. If the left side panel is completely closed, open the left side panel and push the door sensor. Occassionally, if the left side panel appears closed, the sensor will still remain in the open position, generating this error. Pushing the sensor will shut the door tight, returning the printer to the normal mode.

The HP LaserJet 1300 does not have a print head. If you are having print quality issues then 9 times out of 10 it is coming from the toner cartridge. Simply swap it out if you have a spare. The only other possible cause is a bad fuser film which can cause double imaging or a problem where some of the print from the top part of a page is reprinted lighter at the middle or bottom of a page.

you have to refer to usb/ parallel converter manual, not printer manual

on your desktop go to printers and share your printer. then from your laptop go to printers click add new printer. then choose a network printer and click find or search to find the printer conencted on your pc. the pc has to be turned on in order to print

Re-installing the print driver will not solve a flashing light. If the printer is functionally ok, it will come to ready simply by plugging into the wall. It sounds to me like a fatal error at this point.....could be a long list of things, but I would lean towards a formatter board. bottom line with this printer at this point in it's life is, if it doesn't work, it's not worth fixing. Replaceable for about $100.

firistly try to find out the printer is ready or not then find out when we powearing on the printer then it is warming up or not if it is warning up and not come to ready position then open front cover pull the toner cartage and send back it propely
then give print if the problem is not solved then ckeck the printer cables and drivers
