You don't have a web-cam on your Acer Aspire 5532. Sorry, I actually bought a brand new Acer Aspire 5532 with Windows 7. It's really nice but that little black circle at the top of your screen is not a camera. I do believe you can have one installed though.

I think you can install one. Just a seperate webcam. Look at best buy/target. any tech store sells them
Yes there is a webcam.ok.first go to acer arcade deluxe. then click on webcam ,but i dont know what to do next!!!!!!!!!!
Well sorry to disappoint everyone ere , but I, also have Acer 5532 and i jus Modified and upgraded it and it is much more fun .... it had no webcam but i Added one from another acer laptop (builtin) i upgraded my memory to 4GB ram and i even replaced my dying battery with a new on..... and it run Windows 7 Ultimate very smoothly.....
NB: if u can source any ? another compatable same series acer and it's owner aint usin their cam u can jus change urs too

No,it doesn't. But there are many other ways to connect a camera to your ACER,it just wouldn't be built in obviously. I have the same computer,which means i have the same problem and unfortunately no WE Aspire 5532 users don't have a built in webcam.

it depends on your model. i have the same laptop, and I read the box and it clearly states no webcam, A lot of comments on other sites to this question your asking, are saying different. The little black circle in the middle top of you LCD screen is supposed to be the webcam if your model comes with it, but if it doesnt u would have to buy a seperate cam. I am researching the last statement as far as buying a seperate web cam. It seems as though i am having the same problem as yourself. I just so happened to read the box, and it said" Webcam: No"....Sorry! If you find out anything else, let me know by responding to your comment. Good Luck!

In the All Programs list under your start button, there may be a folder called "Crystal Eye". not sure for your particular model, but that is where mine is....Hope this helps!
