My mp3 does not play loud enough even after turning the dial all the way up the volume is loud if your in a quite area away from cars but not loud enough in busy noisey places is there a cheat that makes the player louder?
i have the same problem on my philips go gear. i also just bought new headphones and the volume is not even loud even if i turn it on different songs. please help me
Actually there is a way. If you re-encode the file using an mp3 conversion utility, you can adjust the volume there
I don't have a volume setting..so what else can I do to turn up the volume on reminders
Yes i borrowed a go gear and the volume is so so low, with cheap headphones and with £280 sennheiser headphones which in my studio could easily make you deaf on full volume... maybe the preamp for the headphones that phillips use isnt powerful enough, cheap components...and i just re-charged it using a motorola phone charger lol .. it works lol
Its made that way, you cant change how loud it goes... its all in just how its made and how its set in volume when it is made!!!
SOURCE: volume not loud enough
go to the main page and click on settings, scroll to volume and change it from normal to high.

The problem might be from the earphones, you might need to try differnt ones. As much as I know there's no mp3 noise emphlafier. Thoth you can search for an mp3 player noise reduction plug in don't think there's one thogth.

I have the same problem. I still can people talking in the back ground, even when the volume is turned all the way up~ Anyone know how to fix this problem?
I have the SAME problem too with the Phillips, I actually bought a volume booster, a bulky extra component to carry around hooked up to it and sad thing is, it STILL isn't loud enough!! SOOO annoying, I will never buy this product again.
I have the same problem, but withh every mp3 player I have tried, including Philips and iPods. Apparently the volume is restricted in europe due to some ridiculous law.
