I have a 93 pathfinder SE 4X4 automatic transmission that had full power, new starter and battery. Sometimes it will start and sometimes not. By passed starter relay by adding push button start and it started 6-8 times then nothing. I finally figured out that it was the neutral safety or inhibitor switch on the 4 wheel drive shifter. Just an idea..good luck
your battery isn't fully charged, or your battery contacts need to checked/cleaned!! The starter isn't getting enough power, this is the reason for the slow spin and clicks.
I may not be all the way in park or the safety neutral switch in not working. Did you try and start it in Neutral? Also move your shifter around while the key is engauged and see if it will start.
it sounds like a faulty electrical connection ;check around the battery look for loose wires/anything that looks dodgy/clean battery terminals/check wires at starter motor if you still cant find problem check earth strap from;engine to car chassis.the only two things left are starter motor and ign key lock hope this helps.adrian
charge or replace the car battery as low volts can cause this type of fault
to move re place the battery leads turn on dash lights put foot on brake and put in in neutral as there is a elec lock on the gear stick opperated by brake padel
