Saw repair i have a 36cc chainsaw--the fuel lines dry roted---i replaced them into the fuel tank--they are two sizes 3/32 and1/16--my saw has a primer bulb--can you plz tell me the routeing order of the fuel lines--3/32from the tank to?from the primer bulb ect?---there is two niples on the fuel primer---two on the carb --i was told that the 1/16 line was a fuel return to the tank thanks if you will?
The hose in the tank with the filter on the free end connects directly to the carburetor input connection.
If the saw is equipped with a primer bulb, an output line from the carburetor connects to the suction side of the primer (once the bulb is collapsed it draws fuel from the tank through the carburetor to refill as it inflates).
The pressure side of the primer returns displaced fuel to the tank as it is depressed.
Take lots of notes and a few digital photographs to help with reassembly.

remove the carb and then pull fuel lines from tank ,there should be a filter in tank attached to the fuel line you will put that on the new line then feed it through from in the tank out
just connect them both anyway you chose. press prime button a few times to pressurise tank. you get a 50/50 chance to get it right.
if it just sucking air release pressure first by removing filler cap to prevent face full of fuel then swap pipes over on carb. i did this job a couple of weeks a go on my husky66. only use proper flexy pipe from a lawn mower centre. costs about £2.50 / foot.
I suspect that this is a replacement fuel line. Husky uses rubber lines. Does the leak occur at the tank interface or does the line just hang free? If free, the end probably should go to the output side of the primer bulb. Replace this line with the correct sized rubber line. Most service shops carry various sized lines for nearly every saw. Hope this helps!
If you must choke it for it to run it is running lean. Continued operation in a lean condition will ruin it. If you did nothing to the carburetor adjustments, are using a fresh (1.5 months or less) fuel mix with the same fuel/oil ratio it was last tuned with, (I recommend 50:1 = 1 gal premium fuel to 2.6 oz quality 2-cycle engine oil), are operating at the same elevation, and the air filter is clean, there is a reason your saw is acting up. Clean the spark arrestor screen. Most often it is a fuel delivery problem. Check the fuel filter on the free end of a hose in fuel tank (manufacturer recommends an annual replacement). Check all fuel delivery lines especially at fittings and bends for cracks and holes. It can also be an air leak, inspect for a loose or defective carburetor manifold or loose carburetor. If those are good then the likely cause is internal parts of the carburetor are dirty or have failed. HTH

Take lots of notes and a few digital photographs to help with reassembly. HTH Lou A local saw shop Husky or Stihl (not Jerry's lawn mower) will usually repair this for $20-40. It might be worth a call or 2. If repaired and tuned ask what fuel/oil mixture they used and affix a label near the fuel filler cap.
An IPL containing fuel system parts with very little detail can be found here: Poulan.com http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/POULAN-WEED-EATER/75.59.html “2150 Gas Saw Type #” (the dash number from your serial number). May also be Predator or Woodsman. The fuel system parts can be found on the "Engine Assembly" and "Handle & External Assembly" illustrations. Take good notes and a some digital photos with as much undisturbed detail of hoses and routing as possible. Try your local chainsaw seller/mechanic for fuel hose. Take a short length sample, there may be different size hoses. All need be fuel resistant.

Check the condition of the fuel line and filter in the tank and to the carb and primer.Today gas and time will soften them allowing them to become blocked or leak.Replace if needed.
Fuel Line Replacement SmallEng.com http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrXpU70Hmi0 Routing runs from fuel tank to carburetor, (if equipped) through carburetor to primer bulb, bulb returns excess to fuel tank.
I think the second line on the carburetor is an impulse line and connects to the crank case. HTH Lou
There is two sizes of line. I see the large one goes to the large port on the primer button and then to the fuel tank. The small one goes from the primer button to the carb. The problem is there are two hose connections on the carb. I believe one is a vent, but I am not sure what one it is. I have a 36cc 2-cycle model 358.352161
