I have a whirlpool double oven too and replaced the control board last year the problem started with a F06 code and would reset when I power cycled for a while until it completely quit. Changing the control board fixed that problem. I just used my self cleaning cycle recently and the oven went completely blank on the control panel. Power cycle didn't do any thing. I checked 2 of the thermal cutoff fuses that are shown on most of the parts listing but the problem was with one that is not shown. I have a Whirlpool RBD275PRT00 that showed the same codes. it would allow me to cancel and work for a few more days until the display finally went blank and after a few days of being blank displayed the codes again. I ordered a New Electronic control board from Sears W10340941 for 189 dollars just recently, when I just looked for this part for your model it's that same number but now listed for 254. There are services that will repair your board for a little less but it will not be a new board. it's still much cheaper that a new oven.

This blank display is a common control board problem. If the buttons beep when pressed, then the control board is getting adequate power. If the buttons beep.. and your oven light still turns on when the oven door is open.. this a text book control board failure. thermal fuse to board blows, relays turn fans off, the thermal cut out on rear of oven kills element. change both fuses, install new style oversized blower.

tde, sounds like your thermal fuse (TC0) opened on the back side of the oven. If this opens, it will shut the oven down. This happens alot during self cleaning on built ins. Sometimes I have to re-route the tco to a different area to prevent this from happening. Your part number is 4451442. You will have to pull the oven out far enough to remove the back paneling and replace the fuse....Catriver..post back.
