what network? Ethernet or Wifi, both are networks LAN or WLAN.
well, as with many HP, even same model
the are upto 8 chips used, here. 4 for LAN and 4 for WLAN
i run a scanner to finds whats under the lid.
but most get lost doing that,
lets say its LAN. (i toss coin landed on LAN side)
other run all 3 or 4 SP12344.exe files for all LAN chips
one works the other 3 fail, (tells you its not correct driver)
since you are so savvy putting up a real model and oS
you win today
i show you the exact page
windows 10 , 64bit your machined.
note the answer 5 drivers. 2 work 3 dont.

one way to cheat is look in the device manager first.
then click VIEW and show all hidden devices.
do you see yours, and its full name there, then BINGO name
now match that to the link URL above.
easy no?
this works on all PCs made. same way.
same steps.
ill add one more way, called Pnp
if both chips are dead Pnp will be dead mostly.
so if say the LAN chip works on the Ethernet cable
one could click not he wlan chip in DM and then click
right , update driver. and the wlan gets PNP update from MS.
but this is useless if both chips are dead.
chick and the egg , kills us.
