Hello guys. i have a problem with my nokia 8850 & i hope you could help me solve it.
i changed my cellphone casing, when i opened the unit there is a very tiny dry cell battery that dropped in the table. i did not noticed where it is attached or located. so i decided to replaced my casing with a new one without returning back that small dry cell that dropped because i dont know where to place it in the mother board.
i tested it, the incoming ring tone and message tone alert can be heard and working properly but when i tried to call somebody i cannot hear if the phone im calling is ringing or the voice of the person im calling to. same with my incoming call. my phone rings but i cannot hear anything.
maybe its all about that tiny dry cell battery or what ?? please help me.. thanks... trebs
The dry cell has nothing to do with it..the problem is your earpiece,it is located above the lcd..i think it is attached to the cellphone front casing..or you may have mistook it as a dry cell..check your phone if the earpiece is still there..should be round and has two feet sticking out..
