Try adjusting the feet, sounds like they're not all making contact evenly, vibration can cause the screw-in feet to go out of adjustment

The coupling spins on my Waring Pro SDM50 2-Speed Blender, but it can be stopped by hand and does not spin under load. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

The most likely cause here is the motor brushes are going bad. That is dependent on how old it is and how many times it has been used. If this is new it should be replaced under warranty.

Vitamin 3600 canister leak

I think it's the little washer in the blade assmbly since mine was worn to a sliver when it started doing what yours did. I replaced it with a similar washer and it worked for a week and then started spitting out metallic dust until it stopped working again. Could be the bearing seized. I would say yes a new blade assembly but I hadn't found one- since I have a 3600 which is very old-when my husband bought a used replacement container with a working blade assembly on ebay. $37 bucks, problem solved.

Our wet container smoked and smelled, the taste of plastic got in the shake..There is no "visible" trouble Do you think it could be just the agitator or do you think it could be the motor Model 5000

first take off the container and on the under side bottom of it that sits in the unit is a drive gear see if you can turn it with your fingers also at the bottom of the wet container inside it is a blade that spins in a bearing and this bearing gets tight or even seized up at times strip out this bearing and renew it and the seal but watch your fingers as the blade is very sharp rap it in a thick rag to hold it in your fingers,,,,

When trying to blend things like frozen fruit or frozen yogurt with the Vitamix, the blade stops moving, but the motor continues running. Even if there's only enough frozen yogurt to cover the blades, it...

Frozen elements are generally not recommended for blenders of any brand. They may cause the blade assembly to stop moving completely, or to "bog down," and this may eventually damage the motor. It is recommended that frozen fruits and/or yogurt be thawed when possible before placing into a blender. If this is not a possibility for you, I would use a "pulse" or "chop ice" function to rapidly spin the blades for just a moment. This will chop the contents in smaller, more manageable parts. This should be done before adding other liquid ingredients.

My blender died last night. I flipped the switch and the blade did not move. It was trying....but eventually stopped trying. Now nothing happens when I flip the switch. I have been using it daily for over...

:( my condolences to the blender family.Unplug it its life support and accept your loss. Gently wrap the cord around it and lay its body softly in the trash can. At least you know it tried to the very end. As you walk the isles of walmart, I feel you will find another to take its place.Good luck.

Osterizer blender problem

Is the black plastic part, seal, and glass portion snugly fitted together? If so, it's likely that the black plastic part isn't making contact with the pin. On mine I have to turn it about a quarter turn to lock it to the motor/ drive pin.

If I have a hard object such as ice cubes too firmed placed in the blender against the blade and the glass, I shake the container to loosen the materials and reseat it onto the drive pin as mentioned above.

Blender blade assembly no longer turns

I had this problem and, after seeing these posts, was motivated to avoid paying the cost of a new blade unit. Here's how it can be fixed:
1. Take a kitchen hotpad and hold the blade (top) side of the unit in your hand as you unscrew the rubber gear on the base. This is a left-handed screw, so you must turn it clockwise, to free it up. This should be doable by hand. Be careful, removing the gear exposes a washer note which side is up, and place both the gear and washer aside.
2. With the blades held in the hotpad, unscrew the top nut, again clockwise. This takes more effort, but it will eventually give way. As this nut comes off, it exposes a rectangular post, to which everything is attached.
3. Remove a washer with a rectangular cutout. Make sure you remember which side is up (I think it makes no difference). This may require some rocking to remove the washer from the round-threaded end. It will come off.
4. Remove both blades in a similar manner. Note their orientation, which is important.
5. Next, remove a rubber gasket. On mine, it has a groove which is asymmetric. I don't think the orientation is important, but, again, you may want to note it.
6. What is left is an axle inside a sleeve. There are no bearings. In mine, I had to tap/drive this out. Take a flat-ended rod (ideas: I used the hex-shaped post end of a nut socket. An old drill bit you don't care about, rotated would also work). Place the unit on the edge of the counter, up-side pointing up, in a way so the bottom end of the axle could fall free when you drive it out. Gently tap the axle through the unit, using the helper tool when the axle is within the sleeve. It will drive completely out.
7. Clean everything. I simply scrubbed the axle and took a small brush to the inside of the sleeve. This doen't need to be perfect, but anything left on either surface may ultimately impair the functioning of the axle.
8. Lubricate the axle with household oil or a dab of grease. You will find that the axle will now slide into the sleeve fairly easily (I had the best luck from the top.)
9. Reattach the base gear, then the top in the obvious order. Everything should spin freely from this point on.
REMEMBER: always use the hotpad whenever you grip the blades and to tighten the bolt on top so that the axle protrudes slightly above the nut.
Good luck!
