Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 (68C-00001) Webcam
The webcams are installed perfectly and the video comes across just fine. It's the sound that we're having TERRIBLE difficulty with! Both computers have built-in speakers, so that is not the issue. But whenever we connect, we get this awful high-pitched squeel as well as so much feedback and then an echo also when we talk...It is so bad that we have to mute the volume and just look at each other without sound--Got to get this fixed to be able to enjoy the webcam...Please, any suggestions would be SO appreciated! Thank you SO much!!!
things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud
