46" vizio lcd tv has audio but screen is completely white. Able to bring up Time Warner guide and get visual. Previously taped movies also have sound only . I am able to turn off the tv. How do I fix this?

Line faults & possible causes to LCD & Plasma screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent. Faults to all LCD & Plasma screen are similar, irrespective of its brand and screen size
Sounds like you either have a faulty LCD panel tab, failed LCD driver board, LCD/t-con panel bad connection, or a bad t-con. You will need to get a diagnoses to be sure.
did you check the audio connections? do your audio rec / amp have any fuse(s)? the tv still have sound? is the jacks on the TV external / fixed .... once you have checked all this and still no sound before you call it.......... I would unplug everything and start from scratch and reconnect before I throw/buy a replacement.......... good luck
You have to select how the audio being sent, you can select the sound to be sent through the HDMI cable or through the analog AUDIO out RCA (Red and White) jacks. Please see the on screen audio setup.
ok your tv does not come with the very best sound, you have to get a receiver 7.1 or you can use the optical wire , that's if the system you are using has that option.
