Im missing the cap that goes on the liquid soap[ screws on]kenmore dishwasher

There should be a port under the soap powder fill door with a screw cap and a red LED., Unscrew the cap and fill with liquid rinse aid.

That seems like it's probably related to the recent ban on phosphates in dishwashing soaps. Quite a number of people have found that their dishwashers aren't working as well and are leaving spots and soap behind now that phosphates are not being used.
A little vinegar may help, but the best answer would be to use a water softener.

With a baby squeeze syringe

the turn nob is a cap that you screw out and pour your jet dry liquid in then replace the nob/cap the jet dry will be dispensed automatically.

is your soap door open when this happens if it is then make sure there's no water or other liquids in the dispenser from loading the washer one tablespoon of water in there will clump up the soap and it won't drop when it pops open

I think it prudent we are first clear on terminology. Based on your discription of your "dish soap", please be certain it says "dishwasher soap". If it doesn't say "dishwasher" on it then it's not meant for your dishwasher.
For a standard american dishwasher the soap goes into a small cmpartment in the door. Just open door fully and you will see the rectangular box on the left. Soap in, then close box. The dishwasher will open it on the second cycle.

disasemble the pump housing and remove the debris that are located in the housing, not enough pump pressure to spin the spray arms to desolve the detergent

rinse aid goes in one ,usually a round opening that has a screw on cap to close it.

Got a possible solution from a brilliant guy named Jake on another website and thought I would post it back here.

"Check the door vent on the inner side of the door, that should just snap out, I have seen those clog and start making more pressure inside to make it leak from the bottom. Jake"

I checked mine and got a nasty surprise. Who knew it could get so dirty.

The internals of a dishwasher are stainless steel and plastic and for these sort of problems a diluted solution oh hydrocloric acid can do the trick......just wear gloves!!!
