Blue color is off and bowed at bottom

the color convergeance is out of alignment. you need to have a STK chip replaced.

Replace the convergence ics.

This is a very common failure on Projection TV sets.

One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.

You have a hardware problem, you cannot fix it using the menu. in fact you could make it worse.

Try googling DIY convergence repair if you can solder.

If not then call in a pro, about $300

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence


These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. you need to replace the convergence board.

you have this in your menu. but your menu will not adjust and fix your problem. if all three colors are bowed in at top and bottom...red green and blue... then you need to change all convergance ic's and check fuses. also there might be some solder in fuses hiding on the board. Need to also check all fuses around conv ic's and around conv yoke plugs.
