Our Kenmore model 721.80833500 tray jumps off its track. This has progressively gotten worse over time and now the little end wheel on the rotating arm has broken off. The microwave still works and still jumps off the track. This jumping off the track with the tray has been occurring over the last year or so and now it happens more often. At times it appears that the heavier the item being cooked the less the tray jumps off the track. However, this too is intermittent.

Found 2 possible solutions on the net. (1) Check the engineering change at a Sears store. They reengineered the glass tray and the narrow plastic band the tray glides on. Get the new items from Sears. (2) Cut 1/4" out of the narrow plastic band the glass tray glides on. Possible solutions that look promising.

Kenmore elite microwave/vent hood model 721.80834500 turntable

I bought a Kenmore Elite Microwave Hood Combination Model 721.80823500 at Sears. The installer did not bring the parts to connect the vent to the pipe on the ceiling and never came back. I cannot find the vent/exhaust connetor part to have it installed. No one knows. I appreciate information or installer. Thanks.

Rotating ring/ Glide tray comes off the track -Elite Model 80803

Take your round glass tray and plastic three wheeled hoop to a local Sears store, open up the microwaves on display, find the one that is still using something similar, deftly trade out yours for theirs. The new wheeled plastic hoop wheels are slightly bigger and the glass tray raised guides are a bit longer, since the switch no problems like I had. Don't get caught. They do not have those parts for sale at the local Sears store.

Turntable goes off track

It may be bent at the points where the "legs" meet the center hub. It may be very subtle. It would be useful to see how well it rests in place on the coupler with the tray off and with it on. Seems like it should be a mechanical alignment or wear issue.

Problem with guide tray and glass tray

I would suspect that the wheels are worn on the turntable support (if it's the wheeled type) or it may be a coupler problem. Could you post the entire correct model number so I can look it up?
