A cheaper alternative is to use the rechargeable battery pack.
Regular nicad batteries are not equipped to handle electronics like this.

My unit, Kiddi Smoke Alarm Model i12040, beeps once every minute. I've checked the battery and it's above 10v. This is a new unit (date June 2010). I've unplugged the unit, plugged it back...

Have you tried a different battery? Occasionally a battery can read good but die under load. Also use care when replacing the battery. Many devices today specify in small print to leave the battery out for a minimum time period (anywhere from about 15 sec to 5 min, depending on the model). Also, it is sometimes quite easy to reverse the polarity on some of these devices. If all else fails, contact the manufacturer. It's possible the unit itself is bad.

Hi,
When you first time connected your Leapster 2 to your PC using LeapFrog Connect, first of all, the software need to be updated both on the PC and in the console. It will takes times for at least 10-20 mins for it to complete the update. You have to wait until the status show "connected".
Sometimes, it will takes longer. So, what I did before is uninstall the LeapFrog Connect and reinstall it. It works perfect after that. Hope it helps.

BTW, you can get more downloadable games for your Leapster 2 here:

Hello. Check the filter in the bottom of the fuel tank, I am betting that it is partially gummed up and restricting the flow of fuel. Regards, Joe
