With the power off, push the alarm 1 button, then push the clock set button. Use the skip & preset buttons to set the hour. Push the clock set button again to change to the minute. Again use the skip & preset buttons to set the minute. Push the clock set button again to set. You will see an alarm clock in the upper left of the screen to show the alarm in now set. To cancel push the alarm button and then the stop/alarm off button.
I think you tried to reboot it and than restore it. If that does not work you may need a trip to the Apple store or call Apple tech support.

well thats probably because you hav tmobile. at&t mms runs wit their internet so if you hav internet blocked on your phone then your not gonna be able to recieve it.
I currently have the same problem. I also notice that when this happens, my phone has a hard time sending texts and viewing pictures. Not sure of a permanent fix, but it seems to happen if my phone hasn't been rebooted in over a week. Once I reboot, everything works fine again. I came to the conclusion that like any regular computer that hasn't been rebooted in a while, it will act up in strange ways. My best workaround idea until I get it resolved with AT&T would be to set a reminder once a week or so to reboot your phone (and keep your fingers crossed that it will remind you to reboot).
tap on the arrow on the left of your screen thats pointing to the right thats your shortcut key, then it'll open your shortcut keys, then drag the alarm clock toward to your shortcut keys or drag it to the left and it will automatically lined up with your shortcut keys. to hide your shortcut keys just tap arrow again (arrow thats point to the left).
