Keyboard map for Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro

There are many keys I've never seen before on this keyboard. I contacted Microsoft and was told they don't have an instruction manual for this product!! (One small issue is that I can't clear a screen in one application I use. On my old keyboard, I could hit the Pause key.) Is there keyboard map somewhere? Or can someone help somehow? (Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Pro keyboard/mouse desktop set - part # wur0385)

Thanks!

Have you downloaded the proper keyboard setup application from Microsoft's site? It is at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware and you will find the software for their keyboards and mice there.
Look for "Intellitype Pro" with numerics which specify the version and/or date.

You should have gotten this on a CD with the keyboard.

Good Luck,

I suppose there is a reset button on the keyboard or the software provided so I suppose it could be possible, I don't know.
I use a Microsoft Wired Keyboard...

Unless you have the patience and know-how to tear it apart and clean it all up I would say you would save a lot of money on aspirin by getting a new one. Almost every one I've seen taken apart for something like this ends up with loose keycovers which sometimes jam against each other and do not allow the key to actually strike the sensor so spell-checker is a constant companion with them.
