It depends on which Cricut machine you have. If you have the expression 1 machine this can be done with 3rd party software that is no longer available but can be found at times on ebay. If you have the Cricut Explore there is no problem importing jpeg, png, bmp, giff dxf, and svg files as well if you have any cartridges for the cricut these can be used as well.

Cricut does not accept jpegs. They use their cartridges that come with the machine and others that you can purchase. However if you have Cricut Design Studio you can design your image with the cricut. Any further questions feel free to ask.

How do I use the Artbooking cartridge on the cricut design studio?

Cricut design studio is no longer supported by Cricut but if you mean Cricut Design Space then this is how you do it. Open and sign in to Design Space select insert images and in the box on the right select my Image sets and then type in Artbooking. Artbooking cartridge will then come up for you to select what you want. all images come onto the mat at 2.5 inches they havent fixed this yet so you have to resize your images. If you want to download the image numbers from the artbooking book which go with design space go to http://thenon-craftycrafter.blogspot.co.nz/p/image-codes.html and download the artbooking book from this lady please join her blog and leave her a message as she does a lot of work all of which she does for free. Also if you youtube cricut design space. or go onto design space in cricut.com

I can't get my cricut to cut out the whole letter. it cuts part of it but not all of it

I need more information. Are you using Cricut Design Studio or cutting just from the cricut itself. If you're cutting from Design Studio then you need to make sure your letter is within the space of the mat. If there is some hanging off the edge or past the cut line then it will skip over it and not cut it.

I want to transfer designs from computer to embroidery machine and keep making mistakes. Is there an instruction book for this?

I don't know if I can help you but here goes - do you mean that your
machine takes JEF files ? Jpeg. is a file for photos - the only time
you would use this is with an embroidery machine is on certain
other software can can stitch a picture -from a scan - I have seen it
done but not real familiar with it. If you are naming your files jpeg - change them to JEF and you should be able to load them - Almost every brand of machine has a different file format - You should email Janome and ask them and they would be your best help,

10 out of 200 JPEG files burnt to CD aren't viewable on DVD playe

are all the files the same extension? JPEG and JPG are different as far as how they are encoded? even if you NAME THEM .JPG or .JPEG it is the encoding method you choose to export them as that makes the difference. As in Coreldraw for example. They is a JPEG and JPG export filter.
