While using checkpoint VPN-1 SecureClient to connect to Safe@Office 500 device in office mode, i can't connect to server at the office site. The office mode is on a different subnet than lan so my vpn...

In the rules, you will need to create a new rule that allows your VPN subnets access to you office LAN, and then on your office network gateway, add a route for your VPN subnet pointing back to your checkpoint firewall.

D-Link DI 524 behind VNC access remotely - Need help....

Open a browser and type in htp://192.168.0.1 to access your router's web management interface. Enter the username and password (default is username admin and no password)
Go to the Advanced Tab and Virtual Server
Name=VNC
Private IP=IP Address of your Home notebook
Protocol Type=TCP
Private Port=5800
Public Port=5800
Set Schedule as you like
Enable the rule and click Apply.

To access you Home notebook from anywhere other than your house, go to http://10.0.57.46:5800

Next - remote management of the router.
The IP address that you enter on the remote management page is the IP address that is allowed to connect to the remote management. If the 194.145.183.83 is the IP address of your office, this should work. Be sure you apply a password or anyone going to http://10.0.57.46 will have access to you router, I also recommend changing the port from 80 to 8080 so that http://10.0.57.46:8080 has to be typed to access the remote management interface.

DLink DI-624s - can't get Cisco VPN Client to connect.

The "Virtual Server" setting is designed to give the general public access to a network resrouce (web/ftp/media server) on your internal network. If your the VPN concentrator is external to your network (meaning you'll have to use the internet to connect to it), then you won't need to define a virtual server on the DI-624.

You'll just need to enable the IPSEC and PPTP VPN Passthrough which it sounds like you've already done this. I've run into some ISP's that block VPN connections out of their network. If you have the ability, try to directly connect your laptop into your cable/DSL modem in place of your router and see if you can make a VPN connection, if not contact your ISP, if you can then verify you enabled the VPN passthroughs because your router is blocking them.

GIve it a shot and let us know your results.

DI-524 Wireless

Yes you can, it's easy.

1. Just connect one of the LAN ports of the DI-524 to a LAN port of your other router. Leave the DI-524 WAN port empty.
2. Disable the DHCP server on your DI-524, your other router will be the DHCP server.
3. Assign a static IP address to you DI-524, different from your other router's. Example, if your other router has 192.168.2.1, you may assign 192.168.2.4. Make sure that the IP address you assign is outside the DHCP range configured in your other router and that the subnet mask is identical on both.

if you are still having the same problem, try opening up the DMZ on your router or ask your network administrator for ports to be open on the router.

DI 524 Router Not able to connect to office VPN on Wireless

I have the same model router at home, just checked the settings, you should be able to pass through the router with a normal vpn connection.

If you use a special VPN client, like a CheckPoint Secure VPN client, the router might block it. Also you might want to ask your office's sys admin if you are not blocked by the firewall or something similar. Your office's sys admin will prolly solve your problem since he knows your work network's configuration and setup and how to connect to it.
