SOURCE: Handset Won't Connect to Base Station

OK sorry guess I was thinking you had 2 handsets.
My suggestion is go to the Uniden website and maybe see what they have there.

Maybe do a search on the Uniden site for that Automatic Digital Security Code thing, seems it would be easy to fix, just a matter of how....

In the meantime I'll do some searching and see if I can help and find a fix

SOURCE: No dial tone on handset

It may not be registed with the main unit. You may need to register the handset. With my uniden all i have to do is put it in the main base until it says what handset it is (it should be a number).

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to ask

SOURCE: uniden 5.8Ghz phone.

You need to reset the main base unit. Unplug the power from the back of the base. While the power is disconnected, press and hold the delete key while reconnecting the power. Wait for a long beep tone. When the display shows 88 or P, press play button one time. If you have a phone without an answering machine, disconnect the power from the back of the base, press and hold find hs button while reconnecting power.

Have purchased this producct plugged it in no ringtone no flashing to indicate incoming call have operational line with dialing tone, help please asap as only line into work

I am assuming that you can hear dial tone on the handset, and you can make calls on the phone. If this is correct, then I would recommend contacting BT and getting the phone replaced with one that works. http://www.bt.com/help/home/landline.html

I can't make outgoing calls on my Panasonic KX-TG8521E. Recieving incoming calls. When I dial a number, all I hear is the dial tone. The handset is not locked

You need to press the Phone or Speaker button or the soft key for Phone (see the LCD screen) after entering the phone number to dial the phone. Until you do, you can edit the phone number without actually making the call.

The manual for the KX-TG8521 is available here: http://download.pfrnco.com/product/catalog/cordlessphone/KX-TG8521.pdf . See page 16 for the section on making a call.

I hope this helps.

Sending a fax

First make sure that the fax button has been pushed and is llit...

The 2820 should have a handset. In order to use manual transmission (when you get to hear all the beeps and whistles) you will need to load the document then pick up the handset. then dial the number, when you hear the recieving fax tone then hit the start button.

The 2820 should also have a hook hold button pressing this will allow you to hear the dial tone and the numbers you dial along with the receiving fax tone. If you dont hear anything when you press this button then you may want to use the volume buttons to increase the volume.

Also remember that if you have not picked up the handset or pressed he hook/hold button the unit will use automatic mode, which is to say that all you will do is load the document, dial the number, and then press the start button.

Dial tone is OK, but can't dial out
• Make sure the tone/pulse setting is programmed
correctly.
TONE/PULSE DIALING
1. Make sure the phone is OFF (not in TALK mode).
2. Use the CID/VOL left (-) or right (+) arrow button to
scroll to 1TONE or 2PULSE, or use the touch tone
pad on the handset to enter the desired setting. For
example, to choose TONE dialing, press the number 1
key. 1TONE is the default setting.
3. Press flash/program to store selection. You will hear a
confirmation tone.
