My HP 2175 PRINTER keeps giving me an error

You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Check to make sure that when you give the print command that the HP 2175 is the printer the document is aimed for...not XPS or some other printer on your system.

remove cartage and clean contacts with a soft cloth. also clean contact inside cartage holder and incert nice and firmly, hope this helps in some way

Wipe the cartridge of cotton,don't use water.Make sure the black is not empty.

Hello Dear; When you install new cartridge the machine going to alignment it is neccessary you just follow the direction step by step to finished the procedure.

You need to download and install software for HP Printer from any shareware site.

Hello tabbeach. The printing cartridge align page message appears if u have any alignment job pending, if it asks to print the alignment page. Follow the steps provided here.
Still if u are facing the same issue, perform a HP Media sense caliberation , which in most cases will resolve the issue
