Question about Bosch HBN 452 / HBN 456 Electric Double Oven
My Bosch HBL452 double oven is slow to heat both upper and lower oven. The unit is about 5 years old and we use only the upper oven and that about once per week.
The problem has been present for one month and the upper oven takes 35 minutes to get up to 350 and it takes some 15 minutes to get back up to pre-heat temp after food items are added. All the controls are illuminated and seem to function ok. We only ever use the bake function in either oven.
I have checked the circuit breaker box and the two oven circuits are mechanically connected such that both are on, or off together. There is no indication that we have lost one power phase.
If your electric oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...
Check out this tip that I wrote about the Oven not heating problem..
