Kenmore dryer has will not heat up to dry

Bad heating element or thermal coupling. You need to take back of dryer off, unplug first. Then check with a tester all thermal coupling and heating element. You won't know until dryer is troubleshooted.

Electric heating elements, found in electric dryers, are self-contained units located in the back of the dryer. A defective heating element is frequently the source of no-heat or drying problems. Remove the back service panel to gain access to the elements.
The heating elements are located inside the heater ducts. If you think a heating element is faulty

Probably has two fuses, one on top and one inside. You need to check both with a conductivity meter. If they are good then your heating element is probably bad.

first check the vent outside to see if it is blowing air out strong, then check for heat.
