Norstar m7310 office phones.. how do you program speeddial?

I guess you want a page key programmed on your set. press feature *3, press a memory key, press feature 610. This key pages all sets when pressed.

F983 then enter the ext # manually (not a speed dial/button), you must have 2 Intercom keys programmed on your phone.

Should be simple ... just change the pair you used in the former office to the new office in your punch down closet.

You have call forwarding?

two kinds ...

kind one - from your telephone company - press *### or what ever your telephone company uses

kind two from your PBS what ever your PBS system asks for for call forwarding.

This information whould be available from your administrator - if you are the administrator ... call the company that installed your PBS for the number.

Doy uo mean change them?

Or re-label the buttons?

The plastic colored caps on the buttons pull off. There is a peice of paper in them to re-label the buttons.

Its the problem from the system.

Go to the programming of Norstar by Feature **266344 and the password is 266344.
Go to line datd or line and make dialling made as Tone.
It will fix ur problem.

You have to know how to get into programming, and it depends on the type of telephone lines you have... if you have regular analog lines, on a out bound call transfer there is going to be line degragation. Meaning that the outgoing call is not going to be of the best quality.

Secondly, you have to see how many telephone lines you have, if you have 3 analog trunks, with a call forwarding to a cell phone, you will be using up 2 lines... 1 incoming and 1 outgoing to your cell. This leaves 1 trunk for incoming or outgoing callers.

You will have to go into system programming, under sets, line appearances. You will need to set the lines on the phones to appear and ring, not just appear.
