Hi,

This sounds to be an Display Problem. Do you have the Same Models?

If yes, might be a case that, this is a problem with Most of the Handsets of the same Model. Contact Panasonic to check for any recall or Service Promise. If under Warranty, get it replaced.

To be really Honest, for Display Problems, other than Repair there is nothing that you could do. You could only try to unplug the Phone and again Plug in after few minutes, say 2 hours and check, if that could fix the problem. Also, Read the Manual and try to Restore the phone to Factory Settings.

If you have Different Models, there might be a maintenance problem. You might be Overcharging the Battery or might be some electrical problem in wiring.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Note - Do Accept the Solution, if 100% satisfied from my service!!

My screen will not illuminate, but when slide the phone open to expose the keyboard, the keyboard is lit up. I can tell that the phone is on because when I touch the touchscreen, I feel the 'vibrate' of...

hello, before i tell you the problem i have few things to clarify, for your information the screen works with two components the display and the back-light , in order to see what is displayed you need the back-light (this is that you change levels as brightness), the touch screen works separately in top of display
  • You can't see any light in the screen what so ever (low brightness)?, when the phone is slide up and slide down state.
  • Go to a bright-light lamp, bring the phone close to the lamp tilt the phone slightly in either ways and see whether you can see the display (menu or icons)
if you agree with my points, you have dead screen back-light and need to be replaced,

I THINK THIS IS MY MODEL---THE OUTSIDE SCREEN HAS GONE BLANK/INSIDE ID LIT AND FINE

Hello,

There is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Take care.

I have a Motorola razor phone. The phone was on and the screen was black but the buttons were still lit up blue. I turned off the phone and now the buttons are still lit up blue even when the phone is...

Hi, it is the flex of the phone that connects the screen board to the main board that make the screen display is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another flex.

After changing the flex, it will work perfectly again.

But sometimes you might still change the flex and it will still b e showing blue. In that case you will need to change the screen of the phone.

Take care.

No screen display

Hello,

Is every other function working properly, is it just the screen of your phone that does not display? If yes, it means the flex on your phone screen is bad.

It is the flex on your phone screen that is malfunctioning, that is why there is no display.

All you need to do is to change the flex on your phone screen, doing this, your phone screen will display.

Take care.

HOW DO YOU KEEP THE DISPLAY SCREEN ON LONGER THAN THE 60 SECONDS ON A LG CU VU 920.CAN YOU DISENGAGE IT?

some phones can only keep the display lit up for a certain amount of time all depending on the model and the manufacturer of the phone. and if it is possible to change it, it would be under Settings and then Display. if not then ur phone is just not capable of maintaning a lit up display for longer periods of time.
