CDJ 1000MK2. CDJ pitch control is out of calibration. The pitch plays at zero when the slider is at what should be the slowest setting. How do i reset zero to the middle of the slider.

There is a fine adjust on the pitch control circuit board, however if it is staying at Zero at the extremes then it's time for a new pitch control :(

My CDJ 1000 mk2 pitch control doesn't work and it doesn't regeister on the display, can you help??

The pitch faders do fail but usually they just become erratic rather than give up completely.
I think the most likley problem is a crack on the pitch circuit board or problems caused but liquid spilt into the pitch fader.

Is it possible to do a factory reset on a CDJ1000? (pitch issue)

There is no mention of a factory reset in the Mk1 service manual. The firmware can be upgraded - Mk1 & Mk2's need to go to Pioneer / Videotec, Mk'3 can be upgraded from CD.

The pitch may just be faulty, look here for a replacement :-

My pitch slider isn't functioning on my pioneer cdj 1000 mk 1, how do i go about repairing it?

Take off the slider from the main board and clean it with IPA solution, blow dry it take care not to scratch the carbon strip inside after that apply a very small speck of petroleum jelly or mechanism grease, used by technicians on the movable mechanical parts and you may get it working again. If you have the patience and the knack of doing it urself go ahead. If not order a new slider ( send the details correctly including the size and ohms rating) and replace it. After all pitch bending should not keep changing if you are a DJ so a new one would be most feasible in your case.
