To get to where the toy fell on this unit is a little involved. Unplug unit. take out the lint filter and gently turn the machine upside down hoping the object will fall out if not you will need to take the back off the unit and loosen or remove the blower chute to get at the blower wheel and your missplaced object
Good luck...
make sure that when you replace your filter that there is no obstruction in the filter thread(small stone), i have had many problems with this,if the drain light keeps comming on then check the waste pipe stand.
This may take you awhile to do, but once you get to it you may find a lot more than that down there. You have to remove the back on most all dryers. If the lint trap is on top, there is a metal chute that lint and other objects fall down.Remove the back and you will see what I am talking about.Once this is done, it is fairly easy to remove the collars that go down to the lint hose. You will then be able to clean all of the lint build up down below that gets by the trap. Good luck, Sincerely, shastalaker7
1) check the lint trap, and reach way into the dryer to remove all lint.2) Look at the dryer motor, and make sure that it spins freely (toys and small objects fall into the lint trap and drop into fan. While there make sure you remove all lint
Luckily, dryers are light. Best thing to do is pull it out until you can remove the back cover. (unplug it first) Then vacuum and clean all the dust and lint you can. This should be a yearly thing at least anyway. Replace the back plug it in and slid it back. I do mine every 6 months or so.
is the lint filter on the top of unit??? if so you ll need to disconnect power remove the 2 phillips head screws under the lint trap holding it to the main lid. then after removing about 10 1/4in screws from back panel you ll see a metal sleeve running down the back of the unit( the lint filter actually slides in to it) ending in a circular shape below. remove perhaps 4 more screws holding that panel on and youll gain acess to retrive whatever has fallen down there. easy enough to do yourdself no need to call in a professional
