The top wide wired basket is just a utility drawer. The next wide drawer near the bottom is the high humidity crisper drawer. I believe the bottom two ones are just utility drawers.

Sub zero 690 control center readout

A picture would be helpful, but there should be two 2 digit numbers. the one on the top should be fridge temp reading somewhere around 34-40, and the bottom one should be freezer temp, reading around -2 to 05.

Need to change the water filter on my Sub Zero 690

Hello. The factory indicates your unit required an in-line water filter if your plans were to use one, or the installers added it. There was no indication of an internal filter in the fridge itself. If there was it should be easy to see or find. However this can be good news for you also as your filter (if installed) migt be easy to find and access behind or near the fridge if installed well and a good quality but common form of water filter you can easily replace may have been used, if installed. Otherwise if you have whole-house water filtering already they may not have added any further filtering.

If you can contact who installed your 690 they should be able to tell you where they installed it and what type. If not just have someone follow your water line to the fridge unit, and see what turns up as you make your way along to the place where water connects to the fridge.

Light on refirgerator side doesn't come on unless I tap switch.

I had to take my switch apart and clean and lube it and it worked fine. Or just replace the switch. It may have gotten some sticky ketchup in it like mine did.

8 year old Sub-Zero model 690. Condensor coil leaking

When copper and aluminum are connected it cannot be welded, it has to be crimped. this is a problem that is not exclusive to sub zero, an all aluminum evaporator ( if it is in the refrigerator it's an evaporator) should resolve the problem nicely
