My logitech H628 Harmony remote displays System Error a message

My logitech H628 Harmony remote displays a message ''System Error 1'' and tells me to disconnect the USB and remove and reinsert batteries. After multiple attempts to revive, nothing seems to work and the PC cannot communicate with the remote whatsoever.

Unfortunately, system error one is apparently a hardware issue. It means something about the memory being lost in your Harmony Remote. I had to get a replacement Harmony Remote from Logitech but you would have to see if you are still in your warranty period!!!

I hope you are so you can get a replacement!!! =)

How to reset harmony 650 for 'system error!' ?

If your remote is not behaving properly, you can reset it. To do so, remove one of the batteries, hold down the All Off button, and reinsert the battery. A message will appear on the remote screen indicating that the remote has entered safe mode. Next, connect the remote to your computer and sync it. The remote should now be updated and functioning properly.

I have this error what do I do? Harmony 628 "system error 1"

This is a memory issue that can not really be fixed. Usually it means that one if the transistors has come loose off the logic board. Anyway, it's a hardware issue. I would look into contacting Logitech for a relacement remote.

HarmonyProcess error '800a0005' Invalid procedure call or argument /EasyZapper/New/ProcLogin/Start.asp, line 133

Comunication error with a Logitech server.
You will need to completely exit out of the Harmony software and re-launch it. To do this:
1. Quit the Harmony software
2. For Windows base PC's, right click on the Harmony icon from the system tray and click on Exit
3. For Mac, quit the software by clicking on Logitech Harmony Remote Software menu at the top of the screen and then clicking on Quit 4. Logitech Harmony Remote Software
5. Open the Harmony Remote Software

You should now be able to login.

Run the Activity wizard, one at a time, for all of your Activities.
1. Launch the Logitech Harmony Remote software and login to your account
2. From the Harmony homepage, select the first Activity listed and click on the Settings button for it
3. Select Review the settings for this Activity and click on the Next button
4. Select No, I want to run the setup wizard again to change these settings and click on the Next button
5. Move through the wizard by clicking on the Next button to move to the next page, ensuring that all questions have been answered correctly. Usually a setting will be unselected, causing the error
6. Repeat for every Activity in your account, attempting to update each time to check if the error has been corrected

The unit displays the error message "System Error 1" and "1. Disconnect form USB 2. Remove and re-insert batteries". I've done that and can't get error message to go away. The remote seems frozen.

I had this same issue and when I contacted Logitech, they told me it was a memory failure and I needed a replacement harmony remote. I was still under warranty so I got a replacement.

I would advise you contact Logitech to see if you are still in your warranty period so you can get a replacement!

Harmony 659 erroe measage

Call Harmony support. I have the same thing with Harmony 670 and they said it is a hardware error. No fix that I have been able to find. If it is under warranty they will replace it. If not, I don't know what it would cost to repair.
