My vaio vgn-cs36mj laptop i buy b4 5 month its working normally till last week. and now i have a problem. from cpu cooller coming a bad sound its not normal.now i dont know what can i do. please help me

The button must be defectedYou will still be able to raise and lower the volume within windows. Seeing that this is a fairly new laptop and should be under warranty, you should contact Sony and they will give you the information how how to replace that component.

if that still doens't work, ive found that sometimes the "Processes" are not active in the system preferences. You have to go into System Services and activate it

Your best bet would be to install all of them - unfortunately, the packages do not seem to be described.

I might be posting this message too late but if you're under warranty I would call Sony and have them replace the fan/heat sink unit. The guy that came out and replaced mine (model VGN-CS190) said that Sony was aware of the fan problems. Either the fans they're selling in these things are bad, or the design of the lap top doesn't allow adequate air flow and the fans are running till they fall off the bearings.

It could be a bad driver, have you checked Sony's site for an update, or looking a non-sony, later version of the driver for the device, perhaps just google SigmaTel [device name]?
