I plugged my FujiA303 usb into my new MAC Book Pro

I plugged my FujiA303s usb into my new MAC Book Pro to download photos. I turned on the camera. I then remembered I hadn't yet loaded Finepix 0nto my new computer. I unplugged my camera and loaded the original Fuji A303 cd (seven years old or so...) into my MAC.

My camera now does not show any of the photos and says "Card not initialized." The CD no does not work.
I took MAC and camera to Apple store and support team could not find photos. Said it was a camera fault and I most likely lost photos.

Help.

I cannot download pictures from my nikon d5200 on to my mac book pro. I plugged in my already turned on camera to my computer but nothing is happening.

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as iPhoto or Nikon Transfer.

Aperture photography on mac note book

You should have iPhoto on your MacBook Pro. It will download your photos. Open iPhoto and check the preferences where you can select iPhoto to launch when you plug in your camera.

How do I download contents of a memory stick in Cyber Shot DSC-W55 to my Mac

If you can connect an USB cable to your camera and then plug the cable into the USB port of your computer, it may see the camera and menory card as an external storage device and you maybe able to open the folsers on the memory card to download the photos.
If this does not work then insert the SD memory card into an USB reader and plug it into the USB port of your MAC. You can then open the memory folder to copy your photos to your MAC.

Did you try connecting SD card directly into the MacBook Pro? Or are you utilizing the USB port of said computer? The OS X program "iPhoto" should automatically detect a camera plugged into the USB port, and should prompt you to download the photos.

Did you happen to get a cd with thyat icecam? if so, then you need to uninstall it, unplug it from your mac book. and using the cd driver, run the installation again and plug it back into your mac book. another thing that you might want to do is to run up manually for your mac book. sometimes the drivers for the usb ports need to be updated.
