1.Power cable to CPU.
This you have to attach this with CPU in necessary to three pin.
2.Power cable of CPU to switch board
If you have not plugged your cable to switch board then it could not work in proper,if your wire is too short then connect it with some appliances like two modular or some power suppliers to connect your power to the main board.
3.If you talking about the switch of CPU for starting it.
Connect the bolts together with the help of some holder connect it.

If you look closely on *********** board, you will see the PW SW printer on the board.
This is the on off connection to be made by the power switch.

1998 gmc jimmy power mirrors will not work. fuse ok and replaced switch as it has power coming to it. any ideas?
check motor in mirrors for power,rember power travels battery+ to switch then to mirrors threw wires and conections there maybe a relay in the middel,then to earth threw panels or wires,if there algood maybe its the motors,,,but its rare to have both go at the same time

The light on my fan when on flashes on and off continuously. It will not burn steady, What is the problem?
U have a loose conection, either the lamp holder is not tight on the bulb or the power cable is loose. Just switch off power, open the lamp holder n tighten screws n loose conections. That solves it, good luck.

The replacement switch has 4 wire ports marked L,1,2,3. The fan has a black wire (power) and 3 other wires from a plastic capacitor box, 1 green and 2 brown. How do the wired connect to the switch?

try to find out first all wire wich type of you shold use ampere meter for testing thise wire .
ampere meter turn into continuty mode and conecect its one lead (wire cable) to your motors black wire and watch the display what is rating there .and write it next wire check and date write like this way check your all 4 wire and now who is high number data its conect to number 1 after that some low conecet number to switch number 2 after that who is lowest conect to number 3 and that black colour wire conect to the L mark then try to start your motor

or broken or bad conections
check fuses then conections then switch for power then releys

likely it is the wiring or the switch

Power jack is broke. want to connect to battery pins off motherboard. need pin assignments. i found them for the power jack but cant find for battery connection.
it is nearly just as easy to cut the conection of the power cord and weld it strait to the board where the conection was, or use a volt meter and trace the conections back to some where more stable, conecting strait to battery will or might do damage and the laptop will think it is always running of the battery. and or also could over charge the battery because you are bypassing the switch that stops it. hope this helps a bit.

Eonon faults
You have only conected the live feed, that will cause the light to come on but not switch on. You must conect the switched live feed as well, then it will turn on.
