Check if the camera is in macro mode. It's indicated by a small flower-like notification on your LCD. Perhaps the camera goes back to normal mode automatically when you turn on the your flash.
First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.
Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer. I have a Sony W120 and had the same macro problem, tried all the
"solutions" mentioned here without result. So I pressed the "Home"
button, went to "Settings" (last menu item at right), then "Main
Settings", and used the "Initialize" functio. Problem solved !
