Ice maker supply system leaking at back of freezer wall.

I have a Hotpoint side-by-side and lately it has started leaking at the back wall of the freezer where the ice maker water supply enters. I first noticed it because of a noise coming from the freezer. Upon examination, it was caused by ice buildup that had spread so far that it touched the fan blade. I melted the ice and removed and examined the plastic fill tube. It is intact, no holes or cracks. It made sure it was pushed all the way back into the rubber fitting in the back wall of the freezer, but once the icemaker was turned back on it resumed leaking. (I visually confirmed this was the leak location.) Any suggestions?

Can you disconnect the ice maker only on a hotpoint ctx21ga refrigerater

Yes, you can disconnect the ice maker on a Hotpoint CTX21GA refrigerator. Here are the general steps to follow:
  1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet or turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Locate the water supply line that runs from the back of the refrigerator to the ice maker. It is typically a flexible plastic or copper tube.
  3. Find the valve where the water supply line connects to the refrigerator. It may be located behind a panel or cover.
  4. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator by closing the valve. You may need to turn it clockwise to shut it off.
  5. Disconnect the water supply line from the valve by loosening the compression nut or other connector.
  6. Locate the ice maker inside the freezer compartment. It is usually mounted on the back wall or ceiling.
  7. Unplug the ice maker's electrical connector by pulling it out of the socket.
  8. Remove any screws or mounting brackets that hold the ice maker in place and gently pull it out of the freezer compartment.
  9. If you wish to permanently remove the ice maker, you can disconnect the wiring harness and remove the mounting bracket.
  10. If you plan to reconnect the ice maker in the future, you can leave the wiring harness connected and store the ice maker in a safe place.
  11. Reconnect the water supply line to the valve and turn the water supply back on.
  12. Plug the refrigerator back in or turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

Frigidaire glrs264za ice in freezer

The ice-maker supply line enters the back of the freezer near the top. There is a rubber piece that fills the ice tray, attached from the outside. If that is cracked you will have a leak. There is also a water line that runs through the refrigerator to the reservoir that supplies chilled water at the door. All of these lines should be checked for leaks that can drip into the freezer compartment.

Icemaker 200D1181G026 WR30X10061 model can15. Is there anyone who can test it and rpair it. It jst stopped working. Water supply ok.

The icemaker system on these machines requires 3 things:
A working ice maker. a working water valve, and 28 degrees or better in the freezer.
Nothing else in the frig controls ice production. Most times the water valve goes first. It is recommended to replace it when replacing the ice maker. Replace the water valve now and see if the ice production starts up. If it does not you will need to get a new ice maker, the old ones are not repairable.

Inside my side by side freezer side (hss25gfta ww)

The ice maker water inlet valve has failed allowing water to pass when it is not supposed to pass. The water valve is item 800 of this link. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5203104&diagram_id=24933031#d24933031

Changing the water valve most always returns the ice maker operation back to normal.

Kenmore bottom freezer refrigerator warming up

Hi
There is a definetely leak in the cooling gas.
Firstly... You will need to find from where the gas has leaked. It is usually on the compressor pipes..... but not always.

Secondly you are right about the Water Valve... it needs to be changed.
