Double-click the Volume Control icon (beside your computer's clock, on the System Tray) to open the "mixer". Ensure that you have no "sliders" that have been set to "zero" ("no sound").

Connect the turntable-output to the "blue" (audio-in) socket on your computer's sound-card.
If you get no sound, move the connector to the "pink" (microphone-in) socket on the computer's sound-card, and try again.

How do I get my sound from my Numark TT1625 to play through my DVD/CD speakers?

You need a magnetic cartridge preamp. You then plug your turntable into it and the box into the CD/aux imput of your amp.

Numark tt1625 turntable wavey sound

Your belt is probably worn and needs replacing. Lift felt on platter and and lift the platter section off the unit by putting your thumb and forefinger through the two large holes and pull upwards. There should not be any special routing for the belt and should go directly onto the spindle motor to your platter. Place the belt around the inside rim of the platter while it is still off the unit. Now replace the platter and move the platter around until you see the spindle motor through one of the holes. Use some tweezers to manouvre the belt onto the spindle motor. On some units you will have to lay the belt out inside the unit, replace the platter and manouvre the belt onto the platter. Hope this helps

Numark tt1625 speed issue

hi nikki,

when you say ages to get back to speed how long is that exactly? even on my technics for cueing i give a slight throw to hit my cue points.
also your slip mat may be an issue. do not use the rubber mats use the soft nylon foam one that came with it only.

No signal going into mixer.

Did you buy the gear new? If not, the issue might be with the meter. Also, sometimes the signal isn't loud enough to engage the meter, so try cranking up the Trim and Volume (Master & Line), of course, make sure the volume on your amp is down, so you don't blow anything.

Good luck.

Cant connect my Numark PT-01 to my Numark DM950 mixer

What do you mean it didn't work? What happened? Are you getting no sound, did the plugs not fit? Please be more specific.

If you are not getting any sound, make sure you connected to the LINE input of the mixer - the PT01 has Line Level outputs, so you CANNOT connect it to the Phono input, as the signal will be too hot for the mixer - so make sure it is in the LINE INPUT. Also make sure the toggle switch on the mixer is set to LINE. There is nothing else to this set up, raise volumes, and that's it. It's very simple.

Numark tt1625 keeps on jumping

If your weight and such are correctly set, then the only other issue might be a worn stylus, or your tonearm might be damaged.

My numark tt1625 turntables keep slowing down

If you could be a little more specific, we might be able to help you out better.

Does it slow down, when you do anything, or after a long period of time of being on/used? Or as soon as you turn it on, it slows down?

Any specific information would be greatly appreciated.

NUMARK TT 1625

Any of the following cartridges will fit your turntables:

CARTRIDGES @ 1200s.com

I don't suggest using the originals that came with the turntables, as they aren't of the greatest quality. For a small investment (about $50), you can get some better quality cartridges/needles.
