Not sure what you are trying to do. If you are trying to convert 32 bit to 64 bit Apps, try going to manufacturers website to look for drivers.
Win 7 will actually find the best drivers for your devices.

When installing numark dj io during installation it always says unfortunately the installation failed. (Error: Timeout - 0x0005)

check all usb connections, with any other device like pen drive, if pen drive is working perfectly , then go to " control panal" go to "add or remove programme " and uninstall any " ASIO drivers or softwares" . and restart the PC and install the device and software, drivers as told in the product manual.
if still have problem - change the RAM of your PC,

best of luck and KEEP SMILING .aaarwind

I would like to buy a new dell but not sure how much memory i would need. I don't recall how much memory is in my previous dell. It is a dell dimension xp. Would you please let me know how many GB there...

With any new computer you should get 4 GB of memory, the more the better. There are two version of Windows you can get 32 or 64 bit. The 32 bit version of Windows has a 4 GB maximum on the memory, the 64 bit versions go much higher depending on the version you get. 4 GB will give most people more than enough to do what they need. To see how much memory you currently have just Right-Click on the My Computer icon and select properties. In the window that comes up you will see the memory you currently have.

How to sync Palm T3 to (Dell) 64 bit laptop via Bluetooth

if you are using 64 Bit operating system you may use following procedure
1) Start > Run > msiexec /unregister
2) In regedit, find the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\
SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer
3) Change MsiExecCA64
From this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msiexec.exe
To this: C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\msiexec.exe
(This assumes a default Windows directory.
Change to reflect your configuration if needed.)
4) Restart the Windows Installer service
(Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services)
5) Install Palm Desktop!
To go back to the previous settings, just reverse the change made in the registry, and stop/start the service again.
You can also set it back to normal by re-registering the installer:
Start > Run > msiexec /unregister
Start > Run > msiexec /register
