Phone memory protected

I have Nokia 7370 cell phone. Yesterday I have experimented with the Blue tooth, connected phone to the computer, loaded music, shut down the phone several times and eventually got "Phone memory protected" message.
When I am trying to open "Names" folder or use 1-touch dialing (which was pre-programmed previously), I see this message "Phone memory protected". I tried to restart the phone, took the battery off...it doesn't help. The phone is not asking for password of code. Just gives me this message.
How I can fix this problem?
Thank you .
Natasha

Thank you for the respond. I have fixed it.
But it is happened again and again every time when I am using Bluetooth connection to the computer. Do you know why?
    Thank you.

I had the same problem - resolved when I turned "Security : Phone" OFF. I guess this is to prevent some thief from copying all of my contact information from my phone to their SIM card - or their contacts into my stolen phone? Anyway - try turning "Security : Phone" OFF.

Under Menu>Contacts>Settings.... Under memory in use, change it to phone and SIM. It will probably ask for a security code which should be in your book, if you haven't changed it, its something like 0000 or 12345 or similar. then you should be able to copy all to the simcard.

Good Luck [email protected]

Hello 000Krishna,

While receiving the data via blue tooth data will store in phone memory always.

If you want to transfer in memory card.

Then connect the phone in computer using the PC suite.

Please download the Nokia PC suite from

Music will not synch to Nokia 5300 Red Cell Phone

These sugestions might sound daft but here they are anyway:
Store 1,500 songs with 2GB memory card (sold separately)
If you dont have one your phone memory may be full.
Sound volume check, make sure its on.
Use the correct Nokia PC Suite for your phone,
connect it by cable to your PC. (blue tooth gives a lot of problems with PC Suite)
Make sure you're not loading music files protected by copyright.
Make sure the files are in MP3 format.
