Lexmark T630 241 paper jam message - Indicates a paper jam from the pull down manual feed tray.

If you check to make sure and small fragments of paper are not hindering the operation of the switch. The switch is located on the left side of the tray and will be spring loaded. The switch should move freely without binding. Make sure no toner or dust is on the optical sensor assembly. See Diagram for location.

If the switch seems OK and the printer still reports an error, the printer will require professional care.

The error may not be specifically a toner cartridge problem but may be due to a stuck cover open switch on the printer. Use the following steps.

1. Press the menu button multiple times until you get to Utilities Menu.
2. Press Select.
3. Press menu until you get to Print Menus.
4. Press Select.

A Menu Settings page will print. Following all the menu settings a page count will be listed. This applies to all three models.

Try putting the old fuser back and see if it gets rid of the error, then if that's the case the new fuser is defective. Locate the appropriate authorization code for your printer model from the following list and enter it:

We recommend you choose to save the file within a directory on your computer's hard drive.
Once it has been saved, go ahead and run the file. The downloaded files are self-extracting ZIP files. Running this file will create a set of .PJL files and a file entitled Readme.1st. The Readme.1st file also contains directions for sending the file over through a parallel connection.

i take it that the printer does not go to ready? does you printer stop with 64mb in the display? if it does change the network card. if this isnt the problem some more info would be great
