Turning off and on pressing buttons does not work. Error 6000 means either paper is in the way. Try rolling the paper bar inside the printer to remove paper jam. Or, most likely the ink well, right hand side, needs cleaning .use toilet paper to remove excess ink in the ink well. Just recovered my printer doing this .

Error 6000 mp280

1. Turn off printer
2. Unplug all cords
3. Press ON button 5 times in a row
4. Plug printer back in
5. Try printing

If this doesn't work, call Canon

With the error that you're getting with your Canon mp258 , error number 6000 this means that your printer needs to be reset. You will need a software resetter for this specific printer. You may also use the software resetter for its many other errors. Kindly click on this link for the instruction and for you to be able to download the service tool. error [6000] or light blinking 3 times is mean there is an error occurred in the LF encoder signal.

MP630 print ERROR - ''There is no paper. Load paper and press OK''

You have to set up NOT "cassette"(in this case "cassette" means the front side of the printer where you are supposed to place a cd or dvd) Choose "rear tray" ! You might have changed the settings by mistake. I had the same problem. I was wondering why is the printer not taking the paper but i figured it out. Try the settings on the mini display of your printer.

Error 6000; Fehler 6000.

"Error 6000 is a mechanical problem of paper-input." (Hotline)
Remove paper-tray and check the rail inside as deep as you can see. (look for stuff!) Then try again. All other atempts are hopeless and send it to service.

Ich habe die abstrusesten Antworten im Net gelesen:
z.B. "Fehler 6000 bedeutet, dass die maximale Anzahl der Drucke erreicht ist und das Gerät wegzuschmeißen ist!"
Ich habe beim Service angerufen. Die meinten, es liegt ein mechanischer Fehler im internen Papiereinzug vor.
Das Gerät muss eingeschickt werden. Reparatur von eigener Hand aus nicht möglich.
Papiereinzug? Ich habe dann die Schublade einmal ganz rausgezogen und nach Störteilen auf der Schubladenbahn gesucht.(und gefunden!) Tatsächlich ging die Schublade danach sehr leicht wieder rein und der Drucker lief wieder. Alle anderen Recherchen sind m.E. vertane Zeitverschwendung!

Maybe your printer doesn't have ink.. try to fix your computer by looking through printer preference.
