There is a water pressure sensor that can tell how full the washer is. This is probably the culprit, as the water is now just cascading into the exhaust system. What causes the thing to stay on is a collapsed microswitch in the sensor biscuit, or the tube leading to it is clogged. Have this level switch looked at.

I made a mistake and need to add: When a washer does not stop filling, it is most likely the water lever biscuit diaphram is ruptured, or the tube that leads to it is leaking or has been pulled off. Still have the level switch looked at. One curious thing, however, the level switch is supposed to disable any motors until the unit reaches the proper level. If you have an electronic timer, your described symptoms might be able to happen but is unlikely, but with a mechanical timer, I cannot think of how this might happen at all. Therefore, the probable culprit is the electro-mechanical water valves that the hoses hook up to on the rear of the machine. Have those looked at. Thanks for being patient.

Ice maker Manitowoc QD-0212A

This light is a harvest limit light. This light's primary function is to be on as water contacts the ice thickness probe during the freeze cycle, and remain on throughout the entire harvest cycle. The light will flicker as water splashes on the probe. The lights secondary function is to continuously flash when the ice machine is shut off on a safety limit, and to indicate which safety limit shut off the ice machine. Start up of machine after turned off. !. Before the ice machine starts, The water pump and water dump solenoid are energized for 45 seconds to purge old water from the water trough. This ensures that the ice making cycle starts with fresh water. The water fill valve energizes after 45 second water purge, and remains on until the water level probe is satisfied. 2. to pre-chill the evaporator, there is no water for the first 30 seconds of the freeze cycle. 3. The water pump starts after 30 seconds pre-chill. An even flow of water is directed across the evaporator and into each cube cell.

Hi-i have an lg wasshing machine 5.5kg wf-t552c.wont spin outside drum-lower plastic disc in drum spins only-drains water ok.

Now you meant that the agitator shaft works but the drum does not work. So the fault seems associated with the motor drive and could be a belt failure or a drive failure.
In this case it is important that an observsation into the fault from the motor drive is important to confirm the cause as it seems mechanically related.- since all other functions works according to the cycle.

The water runs during the spin cycle. The clothes

Does the water run through the ENTIRE spin cycle? There is a period where the water will run during the spin; This is called, the "Final Rinse". But it usually only runs for about 10 seconds then stops.

Cold water does not shut off during the entire cycle . Model # 110.26912690.

Hi, If the water continues to fill even when the washer is turned off, you will need to change the inlet valve. If the water turns off when the washer is off, you will need to check the water level switch.
Please let me knwo what it is doing exactly so I can assist you further.

Cold water continues to run during entire wash cycle

Adrea, sounds like you need a new valve. When it's doing this leaking, unplug the washer. If it's still leaking you know for sure it's the valve. Part number for the model posted is 22002360. Catriver..post back.
