My Husqvarna 350 chainsaw won't stay running. Changed spark plug and fresh gas. Please help if

This is the chainsaw section but I think you're playing with a lawnmower, right?
You're saying that it won't stay running. That tells me that it does start, so the spark is OK, and I'd be looking for a fuel delivery problem. Since you cleaned the carb, I'd be looking at a plugged fuel filter or possibly bad fuel.

The plug should gap at 0.5 mm or .020" and be sure to use the proper resister plug. Do not cross reference a plug.

If it has been sitting for a while the gas lines inside may have dissolved. Look in the gas tank with a light to see if you see bits of tubing. If they are OK and teh gas is fresh, check teh spark plug.

Did u put fuel in oil tank and oil in fuel tank. Happens to the best.

1- Is the mix (gas & oil) right? If its 2-cycle,check the manual.
2- Is the choke set?

Take the carb off and clean it out real good.if that doe.s not work you will have to rebuild or replace carb.

The easiest way to test is on the machine. Remove the ignition switch wire from the module coil. Check the pole gaps of the module by inserting a thin business card into the gaps after turning the flywheel magnets under the module. Loosen the module mounting screws to allow the module to contact the magnets, tighten the screws, and turn the flywheel slightly to release the card. Turn the flywheel one full turn to make sure the gaps don't close up further. Use a fresh spark plug gapped at 0.020" and try for spark. If nothing, replace the module. This gets around measuring resistances while trying to evaluate the module. Hope this helps!

Do aclean or overhaul of all fuel components.Change the spark plug or the coil aka=spark plug cable.But if your saw in lees the 2 yrs you need to follow the starting guide in order to avoid flooding.

Check the fuel tank vent for plugging. Make sure the carburetor is securely fastened at all points. Be sure to use fresh fuel/oil mix (50:1) and shake the container thoroughly each time just before adding to tank to prevent oil starvation. Check the muffler for plugging. It's possible that the diaphragm in the lower chamber of the carburetor has failed--it should be flexible with no holes or cracks. Hope some of this helps!

What happens if you remove the plug, put starter fluid or gas in the chamber, put the plug back in and try to start it? If it runs for a few seconds, then you have a fuel flow problem, usually a dirty carb. If it has been sitting for a while, the ethanol in gas can attract water as well as deteriorate hoses, gaskets, etc. This would necessitate removing, cleaning and rebuilding the carb. I would recommend using a fuel stabilizer that counteracts the ethanol effect especially if your gas powered tools sit for long periods without use.

If this doesn't work, have you checked for a good spark? You can remove the plug, leaving the wire on it and hold it against the engine while you crank it and check for a spark (best done in as dark a place as possible to ease viewing the spark). Lack of spark would suggest a coil or magneto problem.
