My sound has an echo :(

Simple Codec issue, Install and run VLC VideoLAN Official page for VLC media player the Open Source video framework
Once installed right click on the DVD in my computer and select play with..... and choose VLC

Make sure the speakers are turned on and turned up and that you have them plugged into the right port on the computer (usually the light green port).

Make sure your software is turned up and that it does not have the sound on mute.

Try the vlc player it comes with drivers and codec. I've seen it solve a lot of sound issues.

Try using VLC as your player. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes). Look for the Video Lan download from site www.videolan.org/vlc Download and install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It's a very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formats and media. It's totally FREE.

Make sure you have compatible audio codecs installed on your computer and the playback device volume is up and not muted. For PC, try playing the file with VLC Media Player:

If the video file itself has no audio embedded, then there will be no sound until that file is edited (using any video editing software - windows movie maker, etc) and audio is added.

Use a media player that uses less resources , like VLC - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ - and make sure no other programs are running at the same time.

i think u have not installed codecs for your dvd player. it will play normal cd but without codecs it will not play dvd video and sound.

better u install a vlc player for window. it will play anything.

You probably don't have the right codec installed to play the videos you downloaded. Try installing Perian from http://www.perian.org/. This adds support for more types of videos.

If that doesn't work, try playing them with VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Here is the solution.
To play DVD video you must have DVD decoder Codec.
So you can use power DVD softwares of VLC media players,these players decode the DVD video.If you had latest Power DVD software download and install it.Otherwise here is the link for free VLC media player Download
Download VLC player
otherwise download Trial version of Power DVD
Download Power DVD 9

Which player you are using? Use VLC player or WinDVD software which can download from net free. It plays almost all movies

download, extract, install. keep clicking next next next next next and finish finaly. optionally if you know what your doing you can configure at the end but thats optional.

ones setup is complete try your videos if they still don't work properly, reboot the computer and try again. everything should work.
