It's the pitch control, these often wear out.

My turntable won't play at 33rpms. tried the pitch adjustment with no success. my turntable is a Technics model#SL-35

First, I'm not a Technics tech.
* Normally I would suggest to check for warranty, but this unit is outdated.
* Try to contact ; https://www.technics.com/us/support/
*** The following is for information only.***
* The following vid shows the speed switch on the left. If it's not tracking then there may be a problem in the selector switch, sync tracking, or motor drive.
* You may want to check the "window" or sensor of the the speed sync light (the orange light). Wipe down the lamp and the peep hole where the sensor is located (on or near the lamp)
* Wipe down the outer edge of the turn table to clean the metal "dots" or "bars" on the rim. This is what the sensor reads to determine speed.
* Speed controls and direct drive turntable are not customer serviced parts (other than replacement of the component).

Fan only wobbles on high....recently 'bumped'

Check all your screws especially the set screw at top of fan that goes into rod. Blades could be warped from the water. Ball of fan not set in bracket correctly. When your buying a fan, look for blade pitch.13 degree or better is best. You shouldn't have to use the fan on high unless it's a low-end fan with a low blade pitch. It's costing you more money to run the fan on high. Sorry to get so preachy, I'm a fan dealer .

I own a SL1200 MKII and when the light "turn on" in the pitch control slider (green LED) the speed is not correct (big dots on platter move slightly) .Could you please give me some tips to solve...

Use the slide on the pitch control to move forward or backward until the dots stay steady. If it is a little old the quartz control won't work as well.

How to calibrate control on a technic 1200 by sight

Put the pitch slider to +6 and adjust the internal preset until the top set of dots on the platter are stationary.
Check again with the pitch at +3.3 if the dots are stationary then job done!, if not then the pitch slider is worn and perfect calibration won't be possible until the pitch slider is replaced.

My stanton t50 turntable plays too fast even when the pitch fader is at the slowest speed

You need to calibrate your pitch control. This requires a small precision screwdriver (similar to something you would repair eye glasses with). If you look under the turntable where the pitch control is you will find 2 small holes, 1 marked 33 and 1 marked 45. Turn the turntable on and set the pitch control lever to zero pitch. While the turntable is spinning insert the screw driver into the pitch calibration hole under the turntable and twist the potentiometer back and forth until the turntable pitch is zero (I believe clockwise is faster, counterclockwise is slower as you look up from the bottom of the turntable). This is a fine tune adjustment and will not require much turning to adjust the speed (1 or 2 mm's) either way should start to bring you into zero pitch. The platter speed can be verified by the little dots on the rim of the platter. They should appear stationary in strobe light on the power switch when you are at zero pitch. When you are adjusting the speed you will observe the dots on the platter rim spinning clockwise and then counterclockwise as you adjust the fine tuning. Fine tune the speed until the dots appear stationary and you will be back to zero pitch. You have to adjust the turntable at both speeds 33 and 45 using the correct fine tuning hole under the turntable. My personal experience is it is easiest to do this with 2 people. 1 person to hold the turntable level and running, while the other adjusts the fine tuning. Hope this helps.

When i turn on my technic 1200 turntable it the lights flicker and looses audio sometimes

Hi, i doubt the 2 are related as the T 1200 doesnt have a preamp, only speed control.

Maybe try checking to if there are any loose ground wires in the turntable (ONLY if you are comfortable to open)

Other than that it the sound issue might be either on the head, or on the phono outs not connecting properly.

If the speed is remaining good, then the issue is just with the LEDS themselves, maybe loose solder, if it is changng pitch as well, then dry joints in the power supply/pitch control

Hope that helps

Sound wavers (speeds up and slows down)

you need to replace the Pitch controls. I'm presuming it is a sliding pitch control. Use the Red start stop lights that reflect on the rotating wheel. put the pitch in center 0. does one row of the dots on the wheel stay completely still.now just turn it up op down a bit until it starts to move the dots slightly. now watch the dots now while there moving. Do they fluctuate they should be smoothe. do this on both decks to find out which one is fluctuating.

Pitch Slider

You more than likely have to have the pitch control replaced or cleaned.

Quartz accuracy not accurate

Sometimes it's down to the mains in the country you are in. Some decks change speed from 50HZ to 60HZ.
