Yes you can and it is very simple. All you need is a special wire. One end fits to the earphone jack on the laptop, and the other end looks like rca cable. At the back of your home theater choose aux in, and connect the rca end of the cable to that. Then the other end looks like a headphone jack, and you connect that to the laptop headphone jack. Now on you home theater select aux. You will everything that comeout of that laptop including the windows vista melody when you first boot it up. Now you are ready to enjoy music.

When a movie is playing, you can hear all sounds except the actors voices....they are mumbled.

The voices are probably coming out on one of the channels that has a bad speaker, bad wire, loose connector, or bad output. If you have the audio set to 5.1 output, change it to two-channel stereo output. The voices should return to normal.

The system plays the music but the voices are mumbled.

Look on the remote for "mode", "effect" and or the "sound edit" buttons. There are a few different sound effects to choose from.

My Samsung HT-Q70 5 disc drawer won't stay closed. It doesn't matter if a disc is in or out or radio selected or anything, it just pops out. Anyone with an idea??

make sure its fully cleaned. many appliances will automaticly open the disktray if there is a reading error. DO NOT TOUCH THE LENS. i suggest a simple blow over the lens and cleaning the disk, try again. if all else fails, contact your seller and get a trade in.

Compatibility fo TV and Sound system

TV has audio outputs, the RCA cable type. If you connect the audio output (red, white) from the TV(look on the back), and connect the RCA cable to Input of home theater system, you should get TV sound from home theater system. You may have to set the audio on the TV for external source. Go to menu, to audio setup, to options. On the Home Theater system, you may have to select the audio source, i.e. audio input 1, etc.

How do i connect/play my turntable?

Hi sorry to say cant go direct.

What you can do if really want it running is get a RIAA pre amp with power supply (search google local shops). The turn table plugs into that, then that plugs into one of the analogue inputs of the Q70. That will work great if prepared for the effort!

Best of luck

Swa3000

  1. With the home theater system off, press and hold the REMAIN button on the home theater's remote control for 5 seconds.
Note: You can release the REMAIN button when the POWER LED blinks blue/Red depending on model.
  2. With the SWA-3000 turned on, use a ball point pen to press the RESET button on the back of the SWA-3000. The POWER LED in the front of the home theater blinks two times.
