This is likely the tuner board over heating and clicking off by instructing the power board to trip the relay. The solution is to check that you have TV ventilation to control the heat. Try using a fan on the back of the TV to see of the TV stays on longer.
sounds to me like your voltage regulator is bad with out t working proper it will not regulate the voltge more gas more volts and kaa pow you will blow out your bulbs
Try to unplug the powe cable from electric current for half or an hour then replug,
Does ur tv have a reset button hidden somewhere? Press it , sometimes some machines need to push this button to restart working fine again Incase ther was a shortage or something.

fot the most part, you have solved your problem (pow bd), The main bd may also need to be replaced as well. The is a signal upon powering up the system. the pow bd communicates with the signal board. The signal bd, also is responsible for ALL of your additional I/O lines. Between the two of these, + a firmware update, i think the tv will be just fine.
It may not be your tv, itmay be your dvd player, open the tray and blow into the tray compartment, or wipe off the lens. When the lens gets dirty, its like trying to look out through a dirty window, and when the lens goes over a part of the dvd with the area that is dirty, it cant read it so it skips over it.
