Durabrand tv keeps shutting of after a few minutes

Try switching it off at the mains for a few minutes.

If that doesn't fix it, I suspect that the disk is faulty or corrupted.

Please recheck new lamp is placed in its position correctly and lamp cover is well seated.

Durabrand codes are very difficult to find, only few codes are public, as this manufacturer is not listed on universal remotes user manuals.

My science teacher had the same problem.
After, he replaced the lamp it stoped over heating.
witch is most likelywhy the tv is over heating

it is stuck in demo take it back to walmart or go there and ask how to shut it off

I still have that problem. I calle Mfr and also spoke to repair shops recommended by them and they said they estimate a cost of 300-400$ or so approx. I am waiting to buy a new LCD which could be few 100 more but at least dont have to live with the old one and keep spending money...

your tv may have a sleep alarm built into it- go into the menu screen for your tv and see if it has one and if it is set up to turn off after so long

This shutting on and off~On Durabrand TV`S. If your Tv Turns Off after about 1-11/2 minutes after turning it on then you need to replace your batteries in your remote control with BRAND NEW BATTERIES or it will keep doing it. It is a real pain in the behind especially if you dont have brand new batteries handy!

MOST PROBABLY DRY SOLDER IN THE POWER SUPPLY SECTION OR REPLACED THE HORIZONTAL DRIVER TRANSFORMER . MUKU
